Mr. and Mrs. Dora Acklin have spent most of the week with their daughter Maudie Cantrell of Advance. Mrs. Cantrell's husband, William, passed away Wednesday night. He would have been 90 years old his birthday.

Uncle Bill Cantrell an old pioneer of this county, 89 years old, departed from this life February 18th. He was laid to rest in the Burnt School Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and two adopted children, Mrs. Noah King of Calico Rock, Arkansas and Mrs. Phoebe Cox of Colorado.
