GRAVETTE — Mathew A. Oaks, 46, of Gravette died Aug. 15, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born March 31, 1962, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Raymond L. and Doris Lewis Oaks.
He was a Northwest Arkansas businessman for 25 years and founder of Metal Building Supply in Gravette.
Survivors include a son, Jason Oaks of Bella Vista; three daughters, Emily Oaks of Bella Vista, Elizabeth Oaks of Gravette and Megan Cecil of Donnellson, Iowa; four brothers, Gary Oaks of Gravette, Randy Oaks of Downy, Iowa, Raymond Oaks of Decatur, and Jeff Oaks of Farmington; six sisters, Caroline Hodel of Orange County, Calif., Darlene Klemmens of Appleton, Wis., Janice DeManicor of Tucson, Ariz., Bonnie Stewart of Fort Madison, Iowa, Penny Pierce of Gravette, Gloria Pierce of Gentry; five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
