SPRINGDALE — Eddie W. Free, 50, of Springdale died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center Springdale. He was born May 7, 1958, in Cotton Plant to Willie and Peggy Troy Free.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Glenda Free and one brother, Kenneth Free.
Eddie served in the National Guard and was minister at Freedom Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kayla Free of the home, to whom he was married Aug. 21, 1977; one daughter, Mckayla Scallorn of Springdale; three brothers, Willie Free Jr. of Prairie Grove, Henry Free of Siloam Springs and Steve Free of Bentonville; five sisters, Linda Hopgood of Springdale, Glenda Fisher of Brinkley, Reba Barbor of Jacksonville, Fla., Ann Williams of Lonoke, and Pam Santaro of Fayetteville; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Sisco Chapel in Springdale, online at www.siscofuneral.com. The Rev. Glenn Misner will officiate. Burial will be in Dowell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
