Gerald Wayne Whitson, 70, of Ozark died
Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Fort Smith.He was retired from GTE Telephone Company where he was employed 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was born February 25, 1945, in Ozark to
Colman Dee and Geraldine “Gerry” Whitson.He was preceded in death by his father.He is survived by his wife, Annette Clauson Whitson of Ozark; his mother, Gerry Whitson of Yuma, Arizona; a daughter, Susan Whitson Damon of Russellville; a son, David and wife Amy Whitson of Ozark; a stepson, David and wife Lora Campbell of Hattieville; a brother,Ronnie and wife Sheila Whitson of Ozark; 3 grandchildren, Brooke Damon of Yuma,Arizona, Patrick and Reese Whitson, both of Ozark; 3 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
