In memory of John R. Bingham, born in Benton county, Ark. October 1st, 1855, died January 21st, 1919. He spent his entire life almost where childhood knew its dawn and a large portion of his life he lived a Christian, becoming a member of the M.E. Church, South at Mount Hebron before manhood passed its greater morn, and lived faithful to his hope in God. He had been keeping a vigilant watch that the discharge being sought by his friends would release the one whose footsteps never came, of the boy, Taylor M. Bingham, who was serving his country's call on the battle fields of France. He leaves a wife and three sons, two of whom were present, and two brothers, W.F. and I.L. Bingham, of which the former was present and joined the family in lending the last touch of the tenderest farewell. A Friend.
