November 16, 1891 - March 8, 1966
Oswald E. (Jack) Regnier, aged 74, of 411 W. Hillsboro St., was dead on arrival at a local hospital early Tuesday night. Death was attributed to natural causes. Mr. Regnier was born in France Nov. 16, 1891, the son of John Baptiste DeBonvillaire and Delma Dellaire Regnier. He fought in the French Army during World War I. Mr. Regnier came to El Dorado in 1941 from Port Washington, N.Y. He had lived here since, with the exception of some eight years residence in Houston, Tex. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary McCall Regnier, a brother, Donald Regnier of Boston, Mass.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Milliken and Mrs. Elmer Morgan, also of Boston. Funeral services have been announced for Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with the Rev. Louis Janesko officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The family has requested no memorials. Mrs. Regnier is at the home of Mrs. W. D. Keith, 409 W. First St. (El Dorado Times - March 9, 1966)
