L.S. "Sonny" Watters, age 88, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. He was born June 22, 1926, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of Scott Watters and Cordie Polk Watters Howell. He was an Electrician and member of Harding Street Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Jessie F. "Collins" Watters of Morrilton; son, Gary Watters and wife Pam of Morrilton; daughters, Glenda Gail Watters Price of Morrilton and Donna Kay Walton and husband David of Appleton; brother, Jack Howell and wife Betty of Solgohachia; grandchildren, Sammy Lynn Maxwell, Mark Maxwell, Jeremy Watters, Angela Gilson, Lacey Ashlock, and Kelly Ashlock; great-grandchildren, Shelby Maxwell, Brady Maxwell, Drew Watters, Aiden Watters, Jeremy Pack, Merrick Pack, Jordan Ward, and Kyle Ward; great-great-grandson, Lucas Allan Carroll; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Lynn Watters and Gerald Wayne Watters; brother, Norvin Watters; and sister, Clausma Hood. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014, at the Middleton Cemetery with Bro. Charles Bane officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
