Wilbur Poindexter, 89, of Emmet, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Prescott, Arkansas. Wilbur was born May 5, 1927 to Mike and Bessie Poindexter.
Wilbur worked as a self-employed timber man and attended Little Bodcaw Baptist Church, Bodcaw, Arkansas.
Mr. Poindexter is survived by his wife, Bobby Jean Poindexter of Emmet, Arkansas; one son, Garry Poindexter of Bodcaw, Arkansas and one brother, William Poindexter of Guernsey, Arkansas.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Bodcaw #1 Baptist Church with Bro. Lane Garner and Bro. David Hampton officiating. Interment will follow in Bodcaw Cemetery.
