Son of James Robert Patterson and Beulah Mulholland Patterson.
Notes of granddaughter Elizabeth Rhodes:
Grandpa had a taxie run. He owed a Buick and Model T.
The family moved from Patterson Lake to the Bay Road. Moved again and on to Whitehall. From Whitehall they oved to McCormick. Rains washed out the crops and Grandpa talked to Morris Smith and got a team of mules and wagon and moved the family to the Bay Road. The family shelled beans and Grandma and Grandpa went to the cannery to can the beans.
Grandma was running home from the cannery and it came up
a rain and she tooke broncial pneumonia and died.
