George Robert "Bill" Parks, 80 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 in Paris. He was born on September 25, 1930 in Paris to Orby and Faye Horne Parks. He was proud to be a lifelong farmer and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Paris.Bill is preceded in death by his parents Orby and Faye Parks, 1 brother Jack Parks and 1 son Teddy Parks. Bill is survived by his 2 daughters, Patti Whitson and husband Jim of Maumelle and Paula Barnhill and husband Butch of Paris, 1 son Bob Parks and wife Sherrie of Paris, 3 sisters Elizabeth Loftis, Dorothy Manning and Anne Schooley, 1 brother A W Parks, 5 grandchildren, Chris Parks and wife Michelle of Fort Smith, Serena Parks of San Antonio, Texas, Kecia Boswell and husband Jacob of West Lafayette, Indiana, Cortney Barnhill of Paris and Kailey Whitson of Maumelle, twin great granddaughters Grace and Emma Parks of Fort Smith and the mother of his 4 children Alice Parks of Paris.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Wood, Joe Kearney, John Barnes, Troy Houser, Louis Fox, Ronnie Layes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kim Hertlein, Johnny Spellins, Ellen Moles, Janelle Parker-Fink, Dale Wright, W J "Slick Wilmann and Mary Lou Wilmann.
