Claudye R. Lowery, 72, of Fort Smith died Sunday, March 11, 2007, in a local hospital. He was born May 30, 1934, in Paris. He drove a boat for the Marine Service and attended Old Country Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Baxley Cemetery in Paris.
He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Lowery; a son, John Lowery; four sisters, Mag Boney and Lindle Knighten, both of Wichita, Kan., Louise White of Fort Smith and Matt Fuller of Lake Village; and a brother, Sherman Lowery of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be John and Willie Gattis, Steve White, Wilson Lowery, Ben Harris and Richard Harris Jr.
