Howard Matthew "Corky" Holthoff, 75 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away December 4, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. His parents and two brothers, Byron (Brother) and Frankie Holthoff preceded him in death.

He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on December 28, 1941 to the late Howard Lee Holthoff and Marian Virginia Matthews Holthoff. He was a member of First Christian Church Gould, graduate of The University of Arkansas lettered in Football, Basketball, Track and Field, life time member of the Razorback letterman club, member Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Returning to Dumas after completing his law degree He opened Holthoff Law Firm in Dumas. A member Arkansas Bar Association, Corky served as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Lincoln and Desha Counties and Desha County District Judge.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Kay Holthoff of Dumas, Arkansas and four sons, Michael (Carolyn) Holthoff of Corvallis, Oregon, Matthew Lewis (Jill) Holthoff of Houston, Texas, Mark Lee (Jason) Holthoff of Seattle, Washington and Howard Franklin Holthoff of Austin, Texas, one grandson, Henry Holthoff and three granddaughters, Rebecca, Megan and Rosie Holthoff, one brother, David Holthoff of Dumas, Arkansas.

Visitation held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral services held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 2 p.m., Griffin Funeral Home with burial following in Holthoff Family Cemetery.
