Old Joe - Funeral Services for Roy D. Dail, Sr., of Old Joe, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Tom Stover officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2018, from 1:00 pm until time of service at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Roy went to Heaven on January 18, 2018, in Old Joe, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born April 15, 1931, in Ravenden, AR, the son of Earl and Leona Holland Dail. He married Barbara Ellett on September 21, 1970, in Upland, Indiana and worked as a Salvage-man for General Motors for 33 years. He lived in Old Joe since 1982, moving from Indiana. He was a member of the Arkana Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, was an avid reader and was a master clock maker. He was a very hard worker and loved to help others.

Roy is survived by his son and daughter, David and Debra Dail of Old Joe, AR, son, Douglas (Danielle) Dail of Tloutester, VA, son, Patrick (Ellen) Daniels of Wisconsin, son, David (Deana) Daniels of Minnesota, brother, Robert Dail, of Portia, AR, sister, Betty Meeks of Black Rock, AR, close friend, Brigitte Petitt of Old Joe, AR; Grandchildren, Michael, Jerry, Elizabeth, Christopher, Christine, Jason, Jonathan, Amber, James, Ryan, Emily and Joshua.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Roy D. Dail, Jr., brother, J.D. Dail, sister, Helen May Dail and sister, Louise Dail.

Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, AR, with Joshua Daniels, Jonathan Daniels, Garrett Gillpatrick, Jimmie Meeks, Ryan Daniels, Frankie Meeks as pallbearers and Mike Mullin as an honorary pallbearer.
