Elizabeth Pruss, 95, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the Rosary Sodality.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 ½ years, Max Pruss, Sr., her parents, Louis and Mary Banaszak, sisters, Frances Pasierb, Martha Wilk and Adelaide Gubanski; brother, August Banaszak, Sr.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Maryann Moix, Fred Pruss, Frank Pruss (Jeanie), Max Pruss, Jr. and Sandy Costello (Deacon Tim); sisters, Florence Szparaga, Margaret Piechocki, Veronica Kaplon, Angeline Kaplon, and Carolyn Evans; her twelve grandchildren: Ed, Rick, Bridget, Fred, Jr., Robert, Margaret, Frank, Kristen, Missy, Elizabeth, Logan, Trish; and eleven great-grandchildren: Kane, Kyle, Luke, Matthew, Abby, Zack, Kayla, Jack, Jeannette, Julia, and Caroline.
Every year Mom produced an abundant vegetable garden which she shared with family and friends. She loved growing and working with her flowers which she contributed for church decorations. We are grateful for the many years we shared with our Mother.
Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church,7006 Jasna Gora, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 20 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 19, followed by a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Ed Moix, Rick Moix, Fred Pruss, Jr., Robert Pruss, Frank Pruss II, and August Banaszak.
