Noel W. Carnes, Jr. passed away July 8, 2016 in Memphis. Noel was born to Noel W. Carnes, Sr. and Ruby Lee Carnes on May 1, 1932 in Marianna.
He was married to Frances Hudnall in 1953 and is survived by his wife, sons Michael O’Neal “Blue” Carnes and Dennis Wayne Carnes of Marianna, as well as six grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister Barbara Hurt of Clearwater, Florida and brother Kendall Carnes of Memphis. He was a farmer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He attended Marianna Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
