John (Johnny) Gilmore Benham, 76, of Marianna passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Memphis, TN.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Margie of the home; and his children, Donna Lackey of San Antonio, TX; Melisha (Tutti) Dilks (David) of Marianna, AR; Jonna Jones (Terry) of Hannibal, MO; Karen Mills (Bryan) of Front Royal, VA; Sean Northcutt (Brittany) of Jacksonville, NC; Steve Manus (Teresa) of Pangburn, AR; and Darlene Manus of Springdale, AR. He is also survived by his sister Naomi Burns of Mountain View, AR; four brothers, Billy (Mary); George; Donald(Ramona) all of Benton, AR; and Herbert (Ruby) of Malvern, AR. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lettie Benham; 3 sisters, Violet Williams, Roberta Scroggins, and Evvie Morrison; one brother, Bobby Joe Benham; and one son, Dale Armstrong.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2:00pm at Roller Citizens Funeral Chapel in Marianna; Interment will be at Marianna Memorial Park, Marianna, AR. Visitation will also be Tuesday; from 10:00 to noon at the Funeral Home. The family requests memorials be made to the Marianna Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
