Charles Kenneth "Ken" Diffy, age 70, of North Little Rock went home to our Lord on Monday, October 1, 2013.
Ken served his country as an Senior Airman and a Loadmaster in the United States Air Force from 1966 through 1970. Much of his service time was spent at Ben Hoa Airbase in Vietnam, where he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service.
Ken was retired from Sears Automotive after almost 30 years of dedicated service as a Master Automotive Service Technician and variety of other Jobs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Kay "Dee" Diffy and his father, Vertis Diffy.
He is survived by his mother, Easter Diffy; his brother, Curtis Diffy; his sons, Kenny Diffy of Batesville, AR, Roy Diffy (Jill) of Memphis, TN, Jeff Diffy (Amy) of Zion, IL, Dewayne Diffy of AL; and one daughter, Lisa Patterson of AL. He also left many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of many close friends. Ken will be greatly missed and dearly remember by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400). Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
