John Youngblood, 65, of Conway passed away April 28, 2013. John W. Youngblood was born February 27, 1948 to Arthur and Lorene (Phelps) Youngblood at Little Rock. He attended Morrilton Schools. He worked for Compton Mills before entering military service with the US Army. He was united in marriage to Tina Griswold on June 4, 1983 at Conway. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and the Conway Optimist Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, as well as John Wayne movies.

Survivors include his wife, Tina of Conway; children, Wanda Williams of Perryville, Melissa Yates of Conway, Kevin Youngblood of Stuttgart, Candice McPherson of Greenbrier and Benjamin Youngblood of Conway; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Swaffar of Morrilton, Jackie Youngblood of LaSalle, Ontario Canada and Alan Youngblood of Pratteville, AL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Marshall Youngblood, James Youngblood, Patsy Jones and Gerald Youngblood.

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (801 8th Ave) in Conway. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
