David Gordon Sweet, 74 of Hot Springs Village, born April 30, 1939 in St. Albans, Vermont to parents, Gordon Alfred and Dorothy Marjorie Sweet, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013.
He was a member of Hot Springs Village Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Sweet and his brother, Larry Sweet.
David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann Sweet; and his children, Deborah Cox (David), Jonathan Sweet (Stacy), Sheila Green (Danny), David Sweet Jr. (Nancy), Barbara Davis (Johnny), Dawn Sweet, Rebecca Thompson (Kyle), and Timothy Sweet (Kathryn). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Wayne Sweet, Richard Sweet, and James Sweet.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hot Springs Village Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Hot Springs Village Church of Christ with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on August 29, 2013.
