Jimmy David Shepherd, age 72, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. He was born on July 27, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Clyde and Louise Looney Shepherd and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after serving 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife of 12 years, Faye Hall Shepherd; brothers, Cecil, Nicholas, Paul; sister, Lillian Sisson; and stepson, Keith Rowe.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with burial at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 14514 Chicot Road, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.
