Carl Robert Prescott age 88 of Hot Springs died Friday, August 31, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born August 23, 1924 in Hot Springs to Eugene and Josephine Guinn Prescott. They preceded him in death, as did his wife, Martha Moore Prescott and his siblings, Ora Brown, Thelma Eugenia Burks and Roy Prescott.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Cottrell Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, all of Hot Springs; one daughter of Hot Springs; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces including a special niece of Portland, Oregon; and nephews and extended family.
A Service of Remembrance was held at the funeral home with Presiding Elder, Rev Marilyn Briggs officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services 336 East Grand Ave, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
