Robert Milton Dumond, 88, of Conway passed from this life on Monday, January 4, 2016 at John McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 17, 1927 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Edward Luther Dumond and Hassie Lee Dumond. He was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Dumond.
Robert honorably served in the United States Navy from 1945-48 aboard the USS Sierra. He was a retired carpenter. He also enjoyed playing guitar at church.
He is survived by his wife, Monette Harrington Dumond of Conway; two sons, David Harrington (Debbie) and Alan Dumond (Vicki) both of Conway; three daughters, Loretta Keathley of Conway, Sheila Munoz (Manny) of Greenbrier, and Carmen Crawford (Bob) of Greenbrier; one sister, Lucy Starnes of Killeen, TX; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time.
