Wendy was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock, where she attended grade school. She was also a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Her greatest joy was being a mother and wife to her wonderful family. Wendy also enjoyed her time spent working for the state of Arkansas throughout the course of her career. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Rooney, and her mother, Lorraine Rooney.
