Herman Wayne Hamilton, 67, of Alix, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Ozark.
He was born May 24, 1949, in Paris, Arkansas to Otis Odell and Edna Faye Pidgeon Hamilton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nora Garren Hamilton; a sister, Margaret Hamilton.
Herman is survived by a daughter, Shannon Cooper of Ozark; a son Herman Hamilton, Jr., of Alma, Arkansas; two sisters, Sharon Warnick of Russellville, Arkansas and Marilyn Etckorn of Bonanza, Arkansas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Herman Hamilton, Jr., Chase Perry, Rick Spessard, Matthew Brumley, David Richardson, Randy Kensworthy.
Honorary pallbearers are the grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Randal Qualls officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial St., Ozark, Arkansas.
