Bobby Gene Hurt, 66, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was retired from Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative, and a member of West Park Baptist Church in Ozark, and served in the Arkansas National Guard.
He was born November 7, 1946, in Altus, Arkansas, to Argie and Rachel Sampley Hurt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM Friday, July 12, 2013 at West Park Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverend Troy Vaughn officiating, with burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix, under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hawkins Hurt, of Ozark; a son, Steven W. Hurt and his wife Joyce; a daughter, Tracie Lynn Corbin, both of Ozark; seven grandchildren: Carley, Macey, Jonathan, and Caleb Hurt, Kristen Stark, and Corey and Joshua Bennett.
