ALMA — Edward Gustave LeClereq, 92, of Alma, Ark., passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016, in a local hospital. He was a retired U.S. Post Master, serving 13 Postai Stations in Chicago, Ill., a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren and a former member of St. Vincent de Paul in Rogers, Ark. He was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Lucien and Marie (Bohn) LeClercq. Also, preceded in death by a son, John LeClercq.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Van Buren, Ark., with interment at 3 p.m. Friday, at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the arrangements of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Ruth LeClercq of the home; one daughter, Renee Blondin of Villa Park, Ill; three sons, Bill LeClercq of Villa Park, Ill., Chuck LeClercq of Atlanta, Ga., and David LeClercq of Alma, Ark.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening, July 7, 2016, at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark., 72921. Pallbearers will be Quinton LeClercq, Brandon Patrick, Matthew Blondin, Jacob Blondin, Daniel LeClercq and Scott Blondin. Online tributes may be made at www.ockerfuneralhome.com.
