SILOAM SPRINGS (Special) - Burial rites for Nelson R. Bishop, a resident of Benton County for 14 years, were to be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Gamble cemetery near Centerton. Pyeatte's Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bishop died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Gravette, after illness of several months. He was born at Memphis, Mo., December 10, 1863, and had lived in Gravette since 1943.
Surviving are five sons, Alvie Bishop, Skidmore, Mo.; Arthur, Avenal, Calif.; Harve and Fred Bishop of Gravette; George, San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys McCalib, Lyman, Wash.; Mrs. Blanche Caywood, Bentonville, one brother, Fred Bishop, Maysville; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
