James H. Fox, son of Henry W. and Sarah Fox, was born in Greene Co., Tenn. on the 8th day of July in the year 1861 and died at his home in Gentry, Ark. March 25th, 1924. He was converted and joined the M.E. church, South in early childhood and lived a consistent Christian life until death. On Nov. 4th, 1888 he was married to Miss Mildred Jane Whiteside and this union was blessed with five children, four of whom survive him, but one child with the wife, preceded him into the glory land. Bro. Fox leaves to mourn his loss four children, four sisters, two brothers, many relatives and a large host of friends. Funeral services were conducted on March 26th at the M.E. church, South at two p.m. by the pastor, Rev. B.L. Harris. Interment was made in the city cemetery. B.L. Harris.
