Paul Floyd Vernon Mitchell, 81 of North Little Rock, passed away, Monday, April 25, 2011.
He was born December 27, 1929 in Leachville to the late James Sanford and Rachel Elizabeth Davis Mitchell.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Vernon Mitchell, and great-grandsons, Timothy Bain, Kadem Ray, and Kent Ray.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Mitchell of 61 years; son, Ronnie Mitchell of North Little Rock, daughter, Patti Bain (husband, Kenneth Bain) of Vilonia, daughter-in-law, Connie Adams of Little Rock.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Paul was an avid hunter and loved farming. Everything from his many tractors and toys to his many animals – he enjoyed taking care of things and always working and staying busy.
Arkansas Hospice was wonderful to his family throughout this whole ordeal. His family is very grateful for their excellent service.
Paul worked for Wonder Bread Bakery for 25 years and Atkins School for 10 years.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011 with Dale Scott officiating.
Interment will follow in the Vilonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home 501-982-2136.
