Mrs. Nellie Jeffries, wife of Elija Jeffries, died at their temporary home northwest of the city last Saturday and was interred in the New Home cemetery Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jeffries went to Texas a few months ago for the benefit of her health but found it to be of no avail, returning here about two weeks ago.
