ROGERS — Benjamin "Ben" Bacon Jr., 60, of Rogers, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Shreveport, La., to Benjamin Bacon Sr. and Virginia Bacon.

Ben was a master craftsman restoring many local historical buildings including the Archibald Yell Law Library in Fayetteville. He designed and created the most beautiful clocks and furniture in the world and left his children many treasures. He loved and served his mighty God and valued his family more than anything on earth. His family will miss him dearly.

Ben is survived by his wife, Lisa Hedges Bacon; one son, Joshua Bacon; two daughters, Anneliese Bacon and Evangeline Bacon, all of the home; his mother, Virginia Bacon of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Michael Bacon, and his wife, Janet of Shreveport, La., and Robert Bacon of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Karen Fisher of Shreveport, La.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at Fellowship Bible Church.

He was laid to rest at New Home Church Cemetery in Bentonville; a church he had lovingly restored.

Memorials may be to the American Diabetes Association, South Central Region, 4425 West Airport Freeway, Suite 130, Irvin, TX 75062.
