July 13, 1930 - December 6, 1968
Dan E. Banister, 38, of Plaquemine, La., died Friday in Baton Rouge, La., following a brief illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge L. Banister of El Dorado. He is a Catholic and a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Navy. Survivors other than his parents include his widow, Mrs. Juanita C. Banister, New Orleans, La.; a son, Dan E. Banister, Jr., and two daughters, Danina Banister and Darlene Banister, all of Plaquemine; a sister, Mrs. James Forgey, Magnolia; and a brother, Dr. T. E. Banister, Thibodaux, La. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's (El Dorado Times - December 7, 1968)
