AVOCA — Linda Cleo Kirkland, 67, of Avoca, Ark., passed away on May 4, 2011, in Bentonville. She was born March 26, 1944, in Springdale, Ark., to Cecil and May Lawson Richardson.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include her father, Cecil Richardson of Highfill, Ark.; one son, James Lynn Kirkland Jr. and his girlfriend, Mary Ford, of Avoca, Ark.; two daughters, Cece Riggle and her husband, Bob, of Avoca, Ark., Kim Ross and her husband, Earl, of Avoca, Ark.; two brothers, Sonny Richardson of Highfill, Ark., Mahlon Richardson of Siloam Springs, Ark.; four sisters, Merlene Richardson of Highfill, Ark., Earlene Pilgrim of Gentry, Ark., Betty Collins and her husband, Milford, of Hindsville, Ark., Pat Richardson of Highfill, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kirkland; a granddaughter, Daisha Thomas; and her mother, May Richardson.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 1 p.m. at the Blaylock Cemetery near Garfield, Ark. Pastor Dale Qualls will officiate the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.
