Cleo the son of William Franklin and Nettie Ann (Creek) Tolbert.


Cleo Franklin Tolbert, 91 of Booneville, formally of Black Rock, passed away March 30, 2016 in the Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

Born April 7, 1924 in Lawrence County, son of William F. and Nettie Ann Creek Tolbert. He was a hard working Farmer his whole life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, WIlliam F and Nettie Ann Creek Tolbert, three brothers, John, Matt and Lester Tolbert; two sisters, Lucille Slatton and Edith Tolbert.

Survivors include three nephews, Doug Richey of Booneville, Ken Richey of Clinton and Tim Tolbert of Sheridan; a niece, Rita Richey Smith of Brevard, N.C.; five great nieces and nephews, Amanda Richey Maness, C.J. Smith, Kenny Richey, Jr., Laura Richey Edwards and Michael Hughes; and many other relatives and friends.

BOONEVILLE — Cleo Franklin Tolbert, 91, of Booneville, formerly of Black Rock, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born April 7, 1924, in Lawrence County. He was a farmer.

Funeral was Sunday at Bryan Funeral Home Chapel in Hoxie with burial at Oak Forest Cemetery.
