Monday, November 13, 1978
Dewey Barney Henson, 79, Winslow, died Nov. 11 in a Fayetteville rest home. Born June 18, 1899, at Winslow, he was the son of Solomon and Lula French Henson, a member of the Baptist Church and a retired timber worker.
Survivors include one brother, Walter "Clay" Henson of Winslow; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Willkie of Fayetteville, Mrs. Mary Pierce of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Gracie Anderson of Van Buren and Mrs. Estella Pense of Winfrey; and several nephews and nieces.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sunset Community Building with the Rev. Doyle Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
