January 7, 1944 - August 15, 1974
Miss Alice Faye Farris, 30, of 438 W. Block St., died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Hilton officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Miss Farris was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Magnolia and was the daughter of Harvey E. and Marie Crisp Farris. She was a resident of El Dorado since 1947. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Marie Farris of El Dorado and her sister, Mrs. Carolyn Clark of W. Monroe, La. (El Dorado News-Times - August 16, 1974)
