William M. (Bill) Vaughn, 74, of Norphlet, died Tuesday following a brief illness. He was a retired oil field worker. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Sarah Vaughn, Vivian, La.; a brother, H. N. Vaughn, El Dorado; and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Josey and Mrs. Bessie Burns, both of Vivian, La. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with the Rev. John Harlon officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. (El Dorado Times - January 6, 1971)
