Joseph William Peltier, 79, of Mena died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, at the Mena Medical Center.
Born June 12, 1915, at Rockdale, Mass., the son of Isadore and Victoria Dionne Peltier, he was a heavy equipment operator and a Catholic. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Hazel LaFern Brown Peltier of the home; a son, Gerald Joseph Peltier of Mena; three daughters, Vicki Goble of Springdale, Joyce Cure of Boles and Marian Putzier of Mena; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Milton R. Lange officiating. Burial will he in Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute, 5835 W. Sunset, Springdale 72762.
