Melvin P. Casada, 87, of Greenbrier, passed away March 2, 2013. Melvin Payton Casada was born November 6, 1925 to Bick and Katie (Carter) Casada at Scottsville, Kentucky.
He is survived by, sons, Melvin Casada Jr. of Monticello, KY, and Richard Casada of Monticello, KY; step-son, Calvin Stull of Kittaning, PA; daughters, Barbara Jean Mosley of Greenbrier, Barbara Ann Henry of Greenbrier, Michelle Ray Mitchell of Indianapolis, PA; a brother, Arcie Jay Casada of Indianapolis, PA; sisters, Katherine Parrish of Peoria, IL, Barbara Willoughby of Scottsville, KY; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren as well as 7 step-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (115 South Broadview) in Greenbrier with Jack Bean officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Needs Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
