Billy R. Gray, 77, of Appleton, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.

He was born August 17, 1936, in Hattieville to John and Sarah Duvall Gray.

He was employed for 33 years at Con Agra of Russellville and 10 and a half years at Mcanear Oil Service, County Line, Oklahoma. He was a farmer, who loved his cattle and working on his farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mikel Gray; a daughter Penny Barkley; and a grandson, Joshua Branch.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Wanda Gray; one son, Kenny Gray of Appleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Pete Eifert of Hot Springs, Billie and John Pawlicki of Appleton; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Shirley Gray of Coos Bay, Oregon; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Margie Barrett of Hattieville, Helen and Harold McGowan of Appleton, and Vonda Roark of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great- grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 13, 2014, at Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Randall Williams. Burial will be in Appleton Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Pawlicki, Clayton Gray, Jerrod Branch, Evan Gray, Heath Barkley, Eric Barkley and Kenny Gray.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Alderson, Beth Ford, Brianna Gray, Mack Cook, James Gray, Rex Tyler, Harold McGowan, Kenneth Cook and Warner Clemmons.

The family will receive friends on Friday, 1:00 p.m. until service time at Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church.
