BLOYED, Mr. - {from West Fork} Once again the death summons has come to West Fork. This time another old comrade has answered the roll call up yonder. At the home of his sister, Mrs. Karnes, near Campbell school house, Comrade Bloyed, aged 71 years and six months went to sleep peacefully at 10 o'clock Dec. 7th, 1906. Comrade Bloyed was an old resident of this place. Born and raised here and leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn his departure. His life was quiet and peaceful as his death, he was loved and respected by all who knew him. A large course of relatives attended the burial. Two sons who live in Colorado and Oregon were unable to be present at the burial. Comrade Bloyed was a soldier in the 1st Arkansas cavalry for Uncle Sam and had as good a record as a true soldier. He has passed on before, some day we who are left will line up and answer the same roll call.
