William C. Allen, 89, Fayetteville, former resident of Lincoln, died March 4 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born June 29, 1886, in Washington County, he was the son of William and Martha Johnson Allen and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Grace Polly, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Orvadell Cook, Harrison; one brother, Floyd Allen, Kingfisher, Okla,; one foster brother, James Blakemore, Tahlequah, Okla.; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Lincoln United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herman Paden and the Rev. Uriah Smith officiating. Burial will be in Canehill Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Lincoln.

Lincoln - Mrs. Belle Ball Allen, formerly of Lincoln, died this morning in Harrison. Born Feb. 26, 1884 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Emily Summerville Ball, she was a Methodist.

Survivors are the husband, W. C. Allen of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Polly of Fayetteville and Mrs. Orva Cook of Harrison; one grandchild and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Lincoln Methodist Church with burial in Cane Hill Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
