SILOAM SPRINGS — Dorothy Mae Rolus, 75, of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at The Maples Nursing Home in Springdale, Ark.
Ms. Rolus was born in Watts, Okla., to Harvey and Bernice Epperson on April 9, 1936. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers, Ark.
Dorothy was a member of the 'Welcoming Committee' and the 'Birthday Committee' at The Maples.
She is preceded by her parents; and one sister, Barbra Fletcher.
She is survived by her children, Amanda Hulsizer and husband, Iven, Audie Weatherford and husband, Gerry,
Anna Baggett and husband, Karry, and Charles Rolus; three brothers; two sisters; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Services will be graveside at the Martin Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Arrangements are made under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
