Charles C. Blankenbaker, age sixty years, died suddenly at his home near Fairmount May 10, 1927. He was the son of S.C. and Samantha Blankenbaker, born in Clark County, Ill. He leaves three sons, A.R. and J.L. Blankenbaker of this place and S.J. Blankenbaker of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Lucille Morris of Gentry, Ethel Thore of Salt Lake City, Utah and Mary Burnett of Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Fairmount with burial in the Fairmount cemetery.

Charles C. Blankenbaker, aged 60 years, died suddenly at the home of his son, Arthur Blankenbaker, May 10th, He had been in poor health for some time previous to his death. He leaves three sons, Arthur and Jim of Fairmount community and S.J. Blankenbaker of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Thore of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Mary Burnett of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Lucile Morris who lives south of Gentry. The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at Fairmount, the Rev. Bates Sturdy of Springtown officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Fairmount cemetery.
