George E. McFadden, 75, of Springdale, died May 14, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. Born Sept. 16, 1919, at Huntington, the son of George Martin and Lillian Gertrude Ray McFadden, he was a charter member of the AARP in Springdale. He worked for the Studebaker Corp. for 19 years and retired from Montgomery Ward after 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Bertha Mae Duckworth McFadden of the home; one son, Robert McFadden of Kaufman, Texas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale with Ralph Gage, Larry Branum and Wylie Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
