Herbert Hewitt "Herb" Florer, 61, of Decatur died May 18, 1991, in Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Tarrelton, Okla., the son of Albert and Beulah Hewitt Florer.
Mr. Florer was a lifetime resident of Decatur where he was a production manager for Peterson Industries, and a member of the Decatur First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; two sons, Douglas Florer of Lowell, and Neal Florer of Fayetteville; two daughters, Faye Aldridge of Springdale, and Anita Jo Gibbs of Nowata, Okla.; three brothers, Aldo Florer of Decatur, John Florer of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lloyd Florer of Maysville; three sisters, Pheta Loux of Maysville, Crystal Hayley of Gravette, and Alberta Walls of California; nine grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the first Baptist Church in Decatur with Rev. Terry Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Falling Springs Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
