Mrs. Stella A. Hammond, 84, of Fayetteville died in a local rest home Aug. 19. She was born Jan. 4, 1888 near Fayetteville, the daughter if John S. and Ruth E. McMillan Starr.
She is survived by a half-brother, Frank Malcolm of Coweta, Okla.; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Calvary Assembly of God Church with burial in Mount Comfort Cemetery under direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
