DECATUR — Dorothy Faddis Richardson, 82, of Decatur died May 9, 2008, at Bentonville Manor. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Red Star to Wesley Friend and Rebecca Collins Friend.

She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Gentry and Decatur area. She was a member of Ever Ready Educational Homemakers Club in Decatur, was a volunteer for the Decatur Care Store and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Decatur and the Springtown Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by husbands William Argus Faddis and Ben Richardson.

Survivors include three sons, William Faddis and Terry Faddis, both of Gentry, Thomas Faddis and wife Tess of Pineville, Mo.; four daughters, Wilma Hubbard and husband Bob, Andra Hecht and husband Darrell and Wanda Faddis, all of Decatur, Frankie Kelley and husband Randy of Bella Vista; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Andy Friend of Huntsville; a sister, Ipha Roberts of Rogers.

Services were May 13 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial was in Falling Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bob Hubbard, William Faddis, Terry Faddis, Thomas Faddis, Randy Kelley, Darrell Hecht and Bobby Hubbard II.
