ROGERS — Ivan "Earl" Gammon, 80, of Rogers died June 5, 2000, at Kellmark Nursing Center. He was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Decatur to William and Nancy Riley Gammon. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was an engineer and supervisor for Boeing Aircraft before his retirement and was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Burchardt Gammon of the home, to whom he was married Jan. 5, 1941; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie Bihl and Charles of Newark, Del., and Kathleen McDaniel and David of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, George Gammon of Burgin Valley; three sisters, Lavina Wallace of Rogers, Norma Jean Pierce of Indianapolis, Ind., and Billie Wilbanks of Decatur; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Falling Springs Church in Decatur. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
