SPRINGDALE — Donley Eugene Campbell, 79, of Springdale died Feb. 10, 2008, in Fayetteville. He was born July 3, 1928, in Hillsview, Pa., to George Edgar and Florence Marie Pritts Campbell.
He was a chief corpsman in the Navy and served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy and later retired as a prison guard from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Lane of Springdale, Victoria McDaniel of Bentonville, Leigh Gordon of Bentonville, Paula Broussard of Kentland, Ind., Teresa Wallace of Madras, Ore.; a sister, Doris Davis of Rector, Pa.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral servies will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville. The Rev. Randall Galloway will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
